The entry point

Williams Ceramic Coat 8H

14% solid content cured to 8H hardness, with strong SiO2 bonding and an 89% mirror shine. It carries a lifetime guarantee for as long as you own the car.

This is the one for the everyday driver. The paint is sealed against UV and grime, water beads off instead of drying on, and the Sunday wash takes half the time it used to.

Β£350 +VATplus preparation. Lifetime guarantee.

The step up

Williams Ceramic Coat Plus 10H

Nearly double the solids at 26%, applied as a dual layer system and cured to 10H. The Si‑N backbone gives it a harder shell, more gloss and more chemical resistance.

The extra solid content means a thicker, harder coating that shrugs off road grime, acids and salt. Same lifetime guarantee as the 8H, with a deeper shine that keeps it longer.

Β£450 +VATplus preparation. Lifetime guarantee.

The flagship

Williams Self Healing Ceramic

The UK’s first true self healing ceramic. Fine scratches heal themselves above 60°C, or slowly at room temperature, and the swirl marks a wash brush leaves simply do not stay.

32% solid content laid up to 8 microns thick, with Dura500 magnetic technology underneath the gloss. It is the thickest and hardest wearing coating we apply, and it comes with a five year warranty on the self healing itself.

Β£750 +VATplus preparation. Five year warranty.

All three cover more than paint. Fabric, alloys, glass, leather, rubber, vinyl and plastics can all be protected, and every package comes with an aftercare kit.

The honest bit

A coating keeps whatever is under it

Ceramic locks the finish in. Coat over swirl marks and you have a lifetime warranty on swirl marks. That is why every package needs the paint cleaned, decontaminated and polished first, and why preparation usually means proper paintwork correction.

Preparation is priced separately because every car needs a different amount of it. Stone chips and scratches are best repaired before the coating goes on too. Tell us what you drive and we’ll give you one quote covering the lot.

The ones about ceramic coating

Common questions

Straight answers

How long does ceramic coating last?
The 8H and 10H coatings carry a lifetime guarantee for as long as you own the car. The Self Healing ceramic carries a five year warranty on the self healing itself, and the coating keeps protecting after that, it just may stop healing scratches.
Is ceramic coating worth it for a new car?
A new car is the best car to coat. The paint gets sealed before the first swirl mark or bird dropping etches in, cleaning stays easy from day one, and the resale value holds because the paint never gets the chance to age.
Does ceramic coating increase my car’s resale value?
We sold a Volvo XC40 for Β£5,326 more than the best instant buyer offer, largely because the coating and regular maintenance had kept the paint in showroom condition. Buyers notice, and it shows in what they pay. Read the case study and judge for yourself.
What preparation is needed before ceramic coating?
The paint has to be cleaned, decontaminated and polished before the coating goes on, because the coating locks in whatever is underneath it. Preparation is priced separately, as every car needs a different amount, so ask us for one quote covering both.
Can you apply ceramic coating at my home?
Yes. We coat cars at homes and workplaces across the South East, and we bring everything the job needs. If you would rather, bring the car to the studio at Brighton City Airport and it is done in a controlled environment.
What is the difference between ceramic coating and wax?
Wax sits on top of the paint and lasts a few weeks. A ceramic coating bonds to the paint chemically and lasts years, with far better resistance to UV, chemicals and wear. Once the car is coated, you never wax it again.
