Some of these providers are based outside the UK. Where your information is transferred abroad, it is protected by safeguards recognised under UK data protection law, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or an adequacy decision.

We may also disclose information where we are legally obliged to do so.

We undertake impact assessments for any new information streams or processing methods.

Information is stored electronically in our computer system with encryption, anti-virus and malware protection measures, and back-up facilities. Some information is stored securely in the cloud.

We archive information on customers who have not been in touch for six years and destroy information after ten years, unless we are legally obliged to retain it.

Where we receive payments by cheque, details are recorded solely to ensure we have a complete record should the cheque become lost in the banking system.

We take card payments over the phone in accordance with Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS).
