Before we arrive

Before Your Mobile Car Valeting Appointment

Do you need water or electricity for mobile car valeting?

No. Our vans carry 200 litres of water and a generator β€” we’re completely self-contained. If you’re happy for us to use your supply it helps reduce noise for your neighbours, but it’s entirely optional.

Do I need to be home during the valet?

No. Just leave the car accessible and unlocked. Many customers book us while they’re at work β€” we’ll get on with it and let you know when we’re done.

How quickly can you come?

Usually same-day or next-day. With vans out across the patch every day, one of them is rarely far from you.

Do you work weekends?

Yes, we’re open 7 days a week, 7:30am to 6pm.

Rain or shine

Weather & Conditions

What if it rains?

We always turn up. Our vans carry their own water and we wash by hand, so light rain doesn’t stop us β€” it actually helps the products dwell β€” and interior work carries on whatever the weather. If the weather means we can’t finish to our usual standard, we come back and finish it at no extra charge. Read why rain doesn’t stop us β†’

Can you work on my driveway or do I need a garage?

Driveway is perfect. We can also work on the street, at your office, or anywhere with reasonable access. No garage needed.

What we clean

Vehicles We Clean

Do you valet vans and larger vehicles?

Yes. We clean cars, vans, 4x4s, pickups, minibuses and more. Prices vary by size β€” just ask for a quote.

What about motorbikes?

Bikes too. WhatsApp us a photo and we’ll price it on the spot.

Do you clean caravans and motorhomes?

Caravans, motorhomes and campervans, yes. Winter lay-up is where the mould starts, and mould happens to be one of our specialities, so a proper going-over each spring is worth it.

Can you clean boats or aircraft?

Both. We’re based at Brighton City Airport, so aircraft cleaning is literally the day job, and boats get the same treatment. Send us the details and we’ll quote it.

The services

Mobile Car Valeting Services Explained

What’s the difference between valeting and detailing?

Valeting is thorough cleaning β€” washing, vacuuming, polishing surfaces. Detailing goes further with clay bar decontamination, machine polishing, and paint correction. A valet cleans the car. A detail brings the paint itself back.

Do I need clay bar treatment?

Only if your paint feels rough to the touch or you want the absolute best finish before protection. Clay bar is included in our Prestige, Detail, and Correct packages β€” not in standard valeting.

What products do you use?

We use Autoglym professional products for valeting and Williams Racing ceramic coatings for protection. We settled on that combination after 20-odd years of trying everything else.

How often should I get my car valeted?

For cars already in good condition, every 4-8 weeks is ideal to maintain that finish. Our 20Club subscription makes this easy β€” choose your frequency and get 20% off all services.

What is 20Club?

Our membership for people who want the car kept right all year rather than rescued twice a year. Pick a service level and a frequency that suits – regular MAX Wash plans work out from £48 +VAT a wash, valet plans from £65 +VAT a visit – and every member gets 20% off all additional services. Our mobile team comes to you on a regular schedule; see the 20Club plans page for the full line-up.

Protection

Ceramic Coating

How long does ceramic coating last?

Our Williams 8H and 10H coatings come with a lifetime warranty for the duration of your ownership. The Self Healing ceramic has a 5-year warranty. With proper care, they protect for years.

Can ceramic coating be applied to a new car?

New is the best time. The coating goes on before the paint has picked anything up, and it keeps it that way.

What preparation is needed before ceramic coating?

The car must be thoroughly cleaned, decontaminated (clay bar), and polished before coating. Skip the prep and the coating won’t bond, so we never skip it. Prep is priced separately; ask for the full quote.

What’s the difference between wax and ceramic coating?

Wax lasts weeks and needs regular reapplication. Ceramic coating chemically bonds to your paint and lasts years. It shrugs off UV, bird mess and winter salt, and once it’s on, the wax tin goes in the bin.

Will my car stay cleaner with ceramic coating?

Yes. Rain beads up and rolls off, taking most of the dirt with it. Washes get quicker and the car looks freshly washed for longer.

Common concerns

Common Concerns

Can you remove pet hair and dog hair?

Yes, pet hair removal is included in all our valeting packages. If it’s a heavy build-up that’s been left a while it needs extra time, and that can cost a bit more. Just let us know the condition when you book and we’ll give you an honest quote.

Can you get rid of bad smells in my car?

Yes. We offer air con sanitisation (Β£40) to clean the ventilation system and Vardar antibacterial fogging (Β£40) to treat the whole cabin. Both kill the bacteria causing the smell rather than masking it.

Do you clean leather seats?

Yes. Leather care is included in our deeper cleans (Interior MAX upwards) or available as a Β£40 add-on. We clean and nourish the leather to keep it supple.

Can you fix scratches on my car?

Surface scratches and swirl marks β€” yes, with machine polishing (included in Prestige, Detail, and Correct packages). Deep scratches that have gone through the paint will need our paint repair service.

Why shouldn’t I use an automatic car wash?

Every pass of those brushes drags someone else’s grit across your paint. A year of that and the whole car is covered in swirl. Hand washing, done properly, is the only way we touch a car.

Specialist work

Specialist Services

Can you remove mould from my car?

Can you refurbish my alloy wheels?

Yes. Smart repairs Β£120 per wheel, full refurbishment Β£150 per wheel. Diamond cut wheels require specialist equipment at our HQ. Learn more about alloy refurbishment β†’

I’m returning a lease car β€” can you help?

Our Lease Return Preparation service usually pays for itself against the penalty charges. We’re trained to BVRLA guidelines and can spot issues before the inspection company does. From Β£300. Learn more about lease return prep β†’

I’ve spilled paint inside my car β€” what should I do?

Don’t touch it. Don’t rub it. Keep the paint wet with a damp cloth, park in the shade, and call us immediately on 01903 233449. The faster we get to it, the better the chance of a full recovery. We cover the whole of the South East and can advise straight away on whether an emergency call-out is needed. Read our full paint spill guide β†’

Can you remove paint overspray or contamination?

Yes – overspray, tar, road line paint, render and industrial fallout are everyday jobs for us, and speed matters because most contaminants bond within days. The full price guide and every contamination type are on our car paint contamination removal page.

What is paint correction and do I need it?

Machine polishing that removes swirls, light scratches and etching from the clearcoat rather than hiding them. If your paint looks dull or marked in sunlight, our paint correction page explains what it can and cannot fix.

Do you wash commercial fleets?

Yes – from a few vans to a full fleet, cleaned on your site on a schedule that suits the operation. Royal Mail are among the fleets we look after; details on the mobile fleet washing page.

Do you clean school and college minibuses?

Yes, inside and out, worked around your timetable – see the school and college minibus cleaning page.

Can you clean my engine bay?

Yes – safely, with the right products and proper care around electrics. The engine bay cleaning page covers how we do it.

Can you prepare my car for sale?

Yes – presentation is the cheapest way to add value to a car you are selling, and buyers pay for the car they can see has been looked after. Our prepare your vehicle for sale page shows what that looks like.

Can I bring my car to you instead?

Yes – our detailing studio at Brighton City Airport, Shoreham-by-Sea takes bookings at the workshop, and the hardest jobs come to us anyway. Drop the car, we’ll do the rest.

Money and booking

Payment & Booking

The money questions every mobile car valeting FAQ should answer without wriggling.

How much does a car valet cost?

That depends entirely on you, your car and what you need – we don’t just blurt out a price without knowing what the job is. A used runaround you’ve just picked up, the everyday car you always promised yourself, and a rare classic deserve different levels of work. Same goes for selling: you won’t want to go to the same lengths preparing a car for sale as you did when you bought it. Whatever the circumstances, we have a service to fit your needs – tell us what you’re after and spend as much as your budget allows. A few photos on WhatsApp or a two-minute call gets you an exact price.

How long does a valet take?

It depends on the service and the state of the car. As a rough guide our core valets book in at around two hours; full details, corrections and ceramic work run longer. You get the time estimate alongside the price when you book, so there are no surprises on the day.

How do I pay?

We accept card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and bank transfer. A deposit is taken when you book to secure your appointment, with the balance due on completion.

Are you insured?

Yes, fully insured with public liability cover. We’ve been trading for over 20 years.

Do you offer gift vouchers?

Yes, gift vouchers are available. Birthdays and Christmas are the usual, though nobody has ever complained at getting one in July.

How do I book?

Use the booking form below, or message us on WhatsApp if you’d prefer to chat first.

What if I need to cancel or rearrange?

Plans change – give us more than 24 hours’ notice and we’ll rearrange without any charge. With less than 24 hours’ notice, or if the car isn’t available when we arrive, the full fee for the booked service applies. If weather or technician illness forces a change from our side, we’ll rearrange with you at the first opportunity.

What if I’m not happy with the work?

Check the car over with the technician before they leave – if anything isn’t right, say so there and then and they’ll put it right on the spot. If you’ve booked us while you’re out, look the car over and get in touch within 24 hours and we’ll sort it. We can’t take responsibility for things raised days after we’ve left.
